As with all prospective residents, we conduct a detailed assessment of needs and preferences and develop a customized service plan. We continuously monitor each resident's needs and update their service plan accordingly.

Our Staff are screened and trained in care giving. They are qualified and committed to provide compassionate care. All our employees pass through our screening and testing procedures. First aid certified, professional caregivers are ready 24 hours a day to administer basic first aid and unmatched care to insure the total well being of all residents.

Latimer Haven is 24-hour, 7 days a week residential care home for the elderly, serving ambulatory and non-ambulatory men and women ages 60 and over. We meet the care and safety standards set by the state of California and is regulated and inspected by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing (CCL).

We are located one mile from Campbell Community Center and two miles from Good Samaritan Hospital.

Amenities and Services

  • Safe and healthful living accommodations and services.
  • Three nutritionally well-balanced meals and snacks made available daily, including low salt or other modified diets prescribed by a doctor as a medical necessity.
  • Personal assistance and care as needed by the resident as indicated in the pre-admission appraisal, with those activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, bathing, and assistance with taking prescribed medications.
  • Regular observation of the resident's physical and mental condition.
  • Arrangements to meet health needs, including arranging for transportation.
  • A planned activities program that includes social and recreational activities appropriate to the interests and capabilities of the resident.
