We pride ourselves in providing our residents with a home that is warm, extremely clean, comfortable, spacious, and pleasantly furnished with a country style environment; just right for seniors who just want to enjoy quiet, safe and pleasant surroundings with the sound of a rooster in the morning and horses in the not too far distance. Our large secure yard with beautiful garden settings encourage residents and their family to enjoy the outdoors and activities offered in and out of the home: privacy is always available when you want it. Wheel chairs /walkers are not a problem. We have four spacious private rooms and one semi-private room, able to accommodate both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents. Our professional, caring and loving staff provides assistance with medication, bathing, grooming, dressing, incontinent care and personnel hygiene. We provide nutritious home cooked meals and snacks, on site laundry facilities and make non-emergency travel arrangements as necessary. Each resident's care is individually tailored to meet unique and specific needs. We have awake night staff, frequent bed checks, toileting and daily showers capability. Our home is designed with both the resident and family members in mind. Respite care is available. Our staff is continuously trained and highly experience in dealing with difficult behaviors and confusion. Your family member will rarely have to leave us for more specialized care. Our home is licensed with Dementia and Hospice Wavier. At end stage, our staff continues to give the usual care along with the Hospice team when appropriate.
