Safe Haven Care Home is to provide care and supervision, in a manner that will aid our residents in maintaining their dignity and highest level of independence, and their recognition as persons of worth and value to society.  We therefore set our goal in the establishment of a home with an atmosphere of acceptance and warmth both physically and emotionally - a community of compatible adults.  Every effort will be made to encourage residents to continue functioning as integrated members of the community and to maintain their personal interests, hobbies, friends, and activities.  The philosophy of Safe Haven Care Home is to make sure residents do not become isolated from loved ones or from activities of personal interest that define who they are.  While we respect privacy, we will, at the same time, encourage residents to willingly accept the care and assistance offered by the staff of the facility.  We operate 7 days per week, 24 hrs per day.  The facility has been developed to provide a homelike residetial environment, which will provide the maximum in comfortable accommodations for the residents.  Each individual admitted to the facility will be screened to ensure he/she is compatible with the current resident population.  Since the functional level of the individuals admitted would evolve over time, the facility will provide an environment in which the residents can "age in place".

Amenities and Services

  • Each resident will receive basic care and supervision, which includes lodging, meals and snacks,and laundry service. The following services will also be provided as needed: additional supervision as needed, supervision with medications, bathing, assistance with dressing, modified diets, and assistance with transposrtation to medical appointments and religious services. Each rooms has cable hook ups, centralized airconditioning/heater. The facility will be equipped with appropriate board games, cards, gardening tools, etc. to provide a well-rounded activity program.
