"The place you recommended looks perfect. This place has a view of the water. They have fountains (small ponds) in the yard which would be very peaceful and a vegetable garden. Orchids are all over the house so mom would love that and her room has a view of the Sound. They document everything. The menu is very healthy and the place is as clean as can be. Ed Dunkel recognized a need for a safe and comfortable home-like environment for seniors while providing care for his parents Ethel Dunkel and the late- Darmon Dunkel, long time farmers in the Old Sunnyside area a couple of miles east of Belmont Country Club. With an appreciation of the agricultural heritage of the area and calling upon his 40 years of engineering expertise, Ed built upon his concept Grace Gardens, which sits upon land the has been in the Dunkel Family since 1940.
