Everything about a ComfortCare Home is designed to make the surroundings familiar, the care consistent, to foster links with the past, and replace confusion and anxiety in the mind of Residents.
ComfortCare Homes provides a small, personalized setting, ideal for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments. Our spacious ranch-style residential homes, staffed with professional caregivers, provide a nurturing and familiar environment for five or six Residents. Residents are free to enjoy their home, its walking paths and its gardens, yet are restricted from wandering by our custom designed security system.
In this compassionate, low stress environment, we offer a level of personal attention, socialization, and professional expertise far beyond what our Residents could effectively receive in their own homes, or even the home of a family member. The ratio of certified staff to Residents is also higher than you will find in larger institutional nursing facilities or assisted living centers.
