Ivy Manor Normandy 2 is a small
assisted living home providing it's 8 residents with quality loving care in a home environment. We are located in a wooded residential neighborhood in Ellicott City, MD, between Baltimore and Washington D.C. It is owned by Chris O'Brien, a physical therapist with 30 years experience in geriatric care.Caregivers are professionally trained and have an extensive background in caring for the elderly in a way that meets the individual needs of each of it's residents. We are experienced in dementia, arthritis, stroke, amputation, diabetes, joint replacements as well as other geriatric needs. Average length of employment of caregivers is 5-6 years. We are licensed to care for levels 1, 2 and 3. Our mission is to provide a setting for one to gracefully and respectfully "age in place." Our small size provides a unique opportunity for interaction amongst residents as well as pursuit of individual interests. Families are encouraged to visit frequently and freely and become a part of our team. Residents and families give weekly input regarding menus, snacks, and activities.Ivy Manor Normandy has provided quality, loving care in beautiful Howard County for 12 years and has the reputation to prove it!
