Since 1990, Pomeroy Lodge has provided care for those with age-related memory loss and those with multiple medical diagnoses. We are located in Washington County in the country on a working farm, just 15 minutes from Washington Square. Lovely trees and panoramas of fields surround us with the Pacific Coast Mountain Range as a backdrop. Pomeroy Lodge provides care in a quiet and relaxing environment.
At Pomeroy Lodge Residents enjoy a warm spacious setting that includes private rooms and baths. To maximize independence and safety the living quarters are on the ground floor level without steps, and are wheelchair friendly. The living and dining rooms have high vaulted ceilings accented with massive Douglas Fir beams and Cedar with lots of natural sunlight giving a feeling of openness. Healthy and delicious Meals are served to match personal tastes that also meet with individual dietary and medical requirements. Seasonal fruits, vegetables and home cooked foods are served as part of our hearty menu.
Our Enhanced Activity Programs includes daily exercise, walks outside on the farm--to the orchard to pick fruit, to the upper or lower field to view animals—deer, chipmunks, wild birds—hawks, eagles, falcons, pheasant and more. Pomeroy Lodge pianist regulars play our old grand piano, plus we enjoy our collection of old musical favorites. Additionally, off site outings for weekly luncheons at local Senior Center are enjoyed featuring: —Bingo, Virtual Travel Adventures and exercise class.
