Sound View Care Center is located in the prestigious University Place neighborhood.  Our property features sweeping, ever-changing views of the Pacific Ocean's beautiful Gig Harbor Peninsula, Puget Sound, and Fox Island.  Our residents enjoy watching the barges, sailboats, and sunsets through our windows, which span the length and height of our common areas. All of this combines to provide a peaceful therapeutic affect.

Our facilities have been renovated to cater to the special needs of our residents.  Residents' rooms are spacious, cozy, and personalized with a traditional home-style feel.  The bathrooms feature walk-in showers and custom built supports for the safety and convenience of the residents.  Our property is wheelchair accessible and features plenty of parking room for visitors and shuttles.  Large Laurel bushes provide privacy and the flowers add a splash of color to enjoy.

Amenities and Services

  • Sound View Care Center provides 24-hour, personalized care. Our residents needs range from moderate to heavy care. Our residents regularly include individuals with highly limited mobility.
  • Our home doctor makes regular visits and is on call for our residents. Staff are certified in providing care for individuals with dementia, developmental disabilities, and have certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Nurse Delegation.
  • Residents dine together at the dining table over nutritious, home-cooked meals. Special diets are accomodated. Medications are administered strictly in accordance with state standards. Physical therapy is available upon doctor's order.
